More Johnny Dyani

Look for more Johnny Dyani later in the survey.  In the meantime, here are a few more albums that are easy to recommend:
- Witchdoctor's Son (Yonca/Matsuli, 1976) - with Okay Temiz
- Witchdoctor's Son (SteepleChase, 1978) - with John Tchicai & Dudu Pukwana
- Echoes from Africa (Enja, 1979) - with Abdullah Ibrahim

  1. Amen. Good selection. I will simply draw attention to his 1985 recording of Angolian Cry with John Tchicai and Harry Beckett on the front line. Dyani gets a huge sound from his bass. Great to see how jazz fit with the S. African struggle for social justice. This is powerful and authentic music.
